MONCTON, NB – Pump House Brewery brewmaster Greg Nash reports on his blog his newest seasonal offering, Winter Warmer, is now available at the Pump House brewpub. He describes it as “a dark and spicy malt bomb”.

The next Pump House specialty brew, Spiced Brown Ale, will follow soon.

Cameron's Deviator Doppelbock

Dark mahogany-brown with a medium sized but quickly disappearing tan head. Nice aroma - very malty, with notes of dark rye bread, dark toffee, chocolate biscuit, and hints of dried dark fruit and mulch. Medium bodied with fair carbonation. Flavour of heavily roasted malt, iced coffee with chicory, and slightly bitter cocoa. Finish is longer, hoppier and drier than is typical of the style, but enjoyable nonetheless. Alcohol is well-hidden - drinks more like a 5.5% than a 7.1%. Very nice, and hopefully a sign of more great seasonals to come from Cameron’s.
