Miller Genuine Draft Launching Plastic Bottle in Ontario

mgd_logoTORONTO, ONMiller Canada in partnership with Molson announced today that Miller Genuine Draft will be released in 473 ml clear plastic bottles, which will be available at the LCBO for $2.50 each.

The move is intended to make the beer easier and safer to transport, and easier to bring/sell at locations and events where glass bottles and cans are not practical or not allowed.

The announcement also noted that the plastic bottle version of MGD will be available at Toronto Raptors games at the Air Canada Centre starting this fall.

  1. Yay for plastic bottlesPlease read the following article about a dog who nearly lost his life after stepping on carelessly discarded Miller Genuine draft beer bottle: http://www.examiner.com/dog-in-vancouver/the-case-for-beer-cans-and-pet-medical-insurance

  2. I like the Miller beer product but the box design is wrong. Opening at the end of the box is badly desogned and returning empty bottles a hassel. The box open and the bottle fall out.
Some people have told me that they don’t buy the product because of the box design.
