MONCTON, NB – Moosehead Breweries are extending their popular Moosehead Light brand with Moosehead Light Lime, a lime-flavoured light beer to be available through the summer. Moosehead President Andrew Oland announced the new brand at a breakfast meeting of the Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick in Moncton this morning.
Moosehead Light Lime will be available in New Brunswick and PEI in 12-pack bottles until September. It will also be served at the Bon Jovi and AC/DC concerts at Magnetic Hill this summer, where Moosehead has secured exclusive beer pouring rights.

Something to be said about beer that requires it be flavored with lime. I’ll stick to lemon aid and enjoy one of the many great craft beers out there when I want a beer.

You guys need to get this stuff in Ontario!! I had some when I was back in Cape Breton and it is much better than BUd Light Lime. Just to let you know the bud light lime is always sold out at the Beer store in ON. The moosehead beer is much better and would also sell out, I think.

You really should have brought this to Ontario, all summer Lime beer was the thing and Moosehead light lime would have been the thing to have. Maybe next year?

Randy – Moosehead Light Lime was launched in Ontario a month or so ago. Too late for the summer, but it’s here if you want it.

I saw the facebook ad and was embarrassed enough to see if it was for real, sadly it is. I actually enjoy Moosehead, but I just lost some respect for the company.
