CALGARY, AB – Big Rock Brewery have released a seasonal mixed pack for fall called Big Rock Brewmaster’s Selection.

The 12-pack includes three bottles each of Big Rock Traditional Ale, Grasshopper Wheat Ale, Warthog Brown Ale and XO Lager.

The Big Rock Brewmaster’s Selection is available in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario for a limited time.

Cameron's Deviator Doppelbock

ABV: 7.1%
Availability: Draught at select bars in Ontario; bottles at the brewery; limited seasonal release

Dark mahogany-brown with a medium sized but quickly disappearing tan head. Nice aroma - very malty, with notes of dark rye bread, dark toffee, chocolate biscuit, and hints of dried dark fruit and mulch. Medium bodied with fair carbonation. Flavour of heavily roasted malt, iced coffee with chicory, and slightly bitter cocoa. Finish is longer, hoppier and drier than is typical of the style, but enjoyable nonetheless. Alcohol is well-hidden - drinks more like a 5.5% than a 7.1%. Very nice, and hopefully a sign of more great seasonals to come from Cameron’s.
