SORRENTO, BC – Crannóg Ales has announced the release of this year’s edition of their annual holiday seasonal, Old Puddin’ Head:
This winter warmer is 8.5% alc./vol, and comes with a warning: drink sitting down. An all-organic beer (like everything Crannóg Ales brews), it’s spiced with bitter orange, coriander and mace. Combined with plenty of caramel and a touch of chocolate malt, there’s plenty of malt complexity to back up the spice and alcohol – and enough bitterness to keep it from being dessert.
Old Puddin’ Head is available now at select bars in in Vancouver and Kamloops, as well as in “Party Pigs” (8.5 litre mini-kegs) and growlers at the brewery.
