VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s All Natural Brewing has announced that Matt’s Sleepy Time Stout, the beer used to launch their “Wild Oats” series of one-off and experimental beers a year ago, will be returning this year just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.
Matt’s Sleepy Time Stout is an Imperial Stout (8% abv), fermented with Belgian yeast and aged with oak staves. Tastes of chocolate, coffee and vanilla are complimented with American hops and a true Belgian character in the finish.
Matt’s Sleepy Time Stout will be available in a limited run of 1000 bottles sold exclusively at the brewery retail store, and on tap at select bars in Eastern and Southern Ontario.
UPDATE: Beau’s has announced Thursday March 17th as the official launch date for this batch of Sleepy Time, with the 1000 individually numbered 600 ml bottles going on sale in the brewery store at 10:00 AM.
The release will also be marked with a family-friendly Open House Afternoon at the brewery on Saturday March 19th, featuring live Celtic music, brewery tours, food, beer tasting, and themed activities for children.
