PICTON, ON – Following on the oak-aged version of their Sugar Shack Ale offered earlier this spring, Barley Days Brewery have released a limited run of bottles of Oak-Aged Cherry Porter.
Based on the winter seasonal Yuletide Cherry Porter, this new beer is available exclusively at the Barley Days Brewery store, where it’s being sold at $8.50 per 650 ml bottle.
This is the second beer to be aged by Barley Days brewmaster Alex Nichols in a 225 L American oak barrel supplied by cooper Pete Bradford of The Carriage House Cooperage. It’s expected that more beers will be aged and released in future limited editions.
