Steam Whistle Launches New Six-Pack

TORONTO, ON – While known for its distinctive painted green bottles, Steam Whistle Pilsner – the one and only beer brewed by Toronto’s Steam Whistle Brewery – has also been available in single serve cans for some time.

Now the brewery is preparing to roll out six-packs of cans in time for the Canada Day weekend, but in keeping with their unique brand image, they’ll be doing it with a twist:

Steam Whistle won’t be using a standard can carton; instead, in-house Art Director, Elton Clemente, designed an original can carrier that features a sturdy handle and end panels adding stability to the pack, while offering a peep-show of the fun/energetic cans within. Steam Whistle signature branding wraps the case which was printed and pre-glued by Cascades and formed on a Kodiak case erector on the brewery’s canning line.

The packages of a half-dozen 355 ml cans will rolling out soon at The Beer Store in Ontario, where it will retail for $14.50; and at select private retailers in Alberta, where price will vary.
