TORONTO, ON – Black Creek Historic Brewery, the mid-1800s style brewery located at Black Creek Pioneer Village in the north end of Toronto, has announced plans to create a “One-Mile Beer,” which will be brewed using both hops and barley grown on site. It’s believed to be the first beer of its kind to be brewed in North America since pioneer times.
In the video below, Black Creek brewmaster Ed Koren describes the project, and gives viewers a tour of parts of the Village involved in the process.
