BURLINGTON, ON – Following on an early December batch that sold out in days, Burlington’s Nickel Brook Brewing is releasing another run of Bolshevik Bastard Imperial Stout.
Brewer Ryan Morrow describes this beer as follows:
Big notes of dark chocolate and dark roasted coffee, dried fruit, figs and raisins. Warming alcohol and rum when its young, mellows with time. Earthy Fuggle hops. 8.5% abv, 65 IBU.
Bolshevik Bastard is available in bottles at the Nickel Brook brewery store, and on tap at select bars in Toronto and area. It’s currently a limited edition release, with a decision yet to be made on how long it will be available.
