Return of Walkerville Brewing Still Planned – But Under a New Name

WINDSOR, ON – As originally reported here on CBN last October, bankrupt Windsor company Walkerville Brewing is set to be revived under new ownership – and it’s now been confirmed that it will be under a new name as well.

According to a report on CBC News Windsor, new owners Chris Ryan and Mike Brkovich are hoping to have beer in production sometime this spring, and will be looking to university students to assist them with marketing and web design. They’re also planning on establishing a new name for the brewery, although it’s not yet been decided what that name will be.

Curiously, this new report makes no mention of Frank Bartucci and Ike Surty, two Torontonians who were reported as being partners in the Windsor Star article that was the source for October’s CBN post.
