VICTORIA, BC – Hoyne Brewing has announced the release of a new beer this week, one with both a name and a description that are a bit mysterious.
Called Dark Matter, it’s a 5.3% abv ale that is accompanied by the following brewery description:
Dark Matter: Deep, Deceptively Dark, Delicious! Is it a Stout? Is it a Brown? Is it a Porter? Dark Matter is elusive, soft on the tongue with hints of subtle roasted chocolate. Sometimes you need to go somewhere dark in order to see.
Dark Matter will be previewed at the brewery later this week (Thursday and Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 12:00 to 6:00 PM), with tasters and growler fills available to those who stop by. 650 ml bottles will follow next week, and will be available at select private liquor stores in BC.
