Duke’s Cider From Tree Brewing Coming to Ontario

TORONTO, ONNorth American Craft, an agency that focuses on supporting small craft brewers in the LCBO and Beer Store in Ontario, has announced plans to bring Duke’s Cider from Kelowna’s Tree Brewing to the province later this month.

First launched in BC last spring, Duke’s is made with apples from the Okanagan, and is described as being “crisp, clean and refreshing with a subtle apple flavour and a dry finish.”

“Cider is a style that we have been looking at since I started NAC back in February 2011,” says North American Craft owner Claude Lefebvre. “I really enjoyed my experience with Duke’s and thought the offering in Ontario would be a natural fit, since more consumers are gravitating towards the category, but are looking for more choice in Canadian ciders.”

Duke’s Cider will be available at LCBO outlets throughout Ontario starting in the last week of April. It will retail for $10.95 per 6x355ml cans.
