Tree Captivator Doppelbock Returns With Wider Distribution

KELOWNA, BCTree Brewing has brought back spring seasonal Captivator Doppelbock for another year, with distribution now expanded to two additional provinces.

Inspired by the strong and nutrient-rich beers traditionally brewed by monks to sustain them through Lent and other times of fasting, this multiple award-winning brew is described as follows:

Captivator Doppelbock offers a sweet aroma with hints of toffee, light caramel and hazelnut. Unpasteurized and free of preservatives, it has a characteristic dark reddish hue.

As in previous years, Captivator has been released in a limited run of 650 ml bottles, and is available now in BC, Alberta, and for the first time in Manitoba. It will also be one of five beers included in a special Tree Brewing feature release which will be offered next month at select LCBO locations in Ontario.
