Howe Sound Releases Trio of Seasonals for April

SQUAMISH, BC – The latest “Brew Crew Newsletter” from Howe Sound Inn & Brewing notes that the brewery has three seasonal beers available this month, one new and two returning.

The new beer is 4 Way Fruit Ale, a draught-only 4.4% abv brew that is described as follows:

A refreshing, unfiltered wheat beer, brewed with four delicious fruits. Passionfruit, mango, raspberry and pomegranate combine to produce a prominently aromatic fruit beer, with tropical and citrus notes. This medium dry beer makes for a perfect summer pint.

Also available now both on draught and in 1 litre swingtop bottles are the returning King Heffy Imperial Hefeweizen and Gathering Storm Cascadian Dark Ale.

King Heffy:

A high gravity hefeweizen brewed with a German hefe yeast, Pale and Munich malted barley, White Wheat and Amarillo and Saaz hops. The special hefe yeast gives a unique banana, clove, and vanilla aroma to this delicious summer beer.

Gathering Storm:

A delicious, flavorful hoppy brown ale, brewed with six different barley malts and three varieties of Northwest hops – Nugget, Mt. Hood and Cascade. Sometimes referred to as a “black IPA”, the Cascadian Dark Ale style is brewed in recognition of the craft brewers and hop suppliers of the Pacific Northwest. The strong bitterness of this beer is balanced by the substantial maltiness and roasted flavours of the barley mash, while the citrus aroma of the Cascade hop remains prevalent.

All three beers are available now at the Howe Sound Inn.
