Toronto’s Festival of Beer Announces Preview Events

TORONTO, ON – The main event is still close to a month away, but the organizers of Toronto’s Festival of Beer (TFOB) which hits Exhibition Place on July 27th-29th are getting things started early with a series of satellite events happening throughout the city in advance of the festival.

Starting tonight (July 3rd) and running through to Saturday is Cask 5, a series of five events being presented by TFOB in collaboration with Cask Days. Starting at 5:00 PM each evening, a different bar will host a session with a different brewery, each featuring 5 different cask beers. The series includes:

Tue July 3rd: Beau’s All-Natural Brewing at C’est What
Wed July 4th: Great Lakes Brewery at Bryden’s
Thu July 5th: Nickel Brook Brewing at The Rhino
Fri July 6th: Black Oak Brewing at The Only Cafe
Sat July 7th: House Ales at Volo

A few days after Cask 5 wraps up, a series of Brewmaster’s Dinners will be kicking off, each featuring various beers paired with multiple courses of beer-friendly cuisine. And as a bonus, each dinner ticket includes admission to the sold out Saturday session at TFOB. Dinners include:

Tue July 10th: East Coast brewery TBA at Oyster Boy ($95 – tickets available online)
Wed July 11th: Innis & Gunn at The Monk’s Table ($85 – tickets available online)
Mon July 16th: various craft beers at Wvrst ($85 – tickets available online)
Tue July 17th: McAuslan Brewing at Barque Smokehouse ($85 – tickets available online)
