Silversmith Brewing Now Open in Niagara-on-the-Lake

NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ON – As reported here on CBN in April, the small Ontario town Niagara-on-the-Lake will soon be home to two new craft breweries, and one of them is now open for business.

Following a sneak preview event on July 1st, Chris Pontsioen, Matt Swan and Don McKinnon of Silversmith Brewing have shipped the first kegs of their Black Lager and Bavarian Wheat Beer out the doors of the picturesque former church building where they’ve set up shop.

The Black Lager is now on tap at Gigs Milos’ Beer Emporium in London, with the Wheat to follow, and both beers will be available at the Forest City Beer Fest at APK Live in London on August 11th. Other draught accounts are expected to be announced soon, and 650 ml bomber bottles of both beers will be available to purchase at the brewery at some point in the future.

For more details, check out the Silversmith Brewing Facebook page and Twitter feed.
