Skeena Brewing Aiming to Open in BC’s Northwest Region

TERRACE, BC – They don’t yet have a location to build their brewery, but the partners behind BC’s Skeena Brewing are aiming to be open for business at some point in Terrace, a small city located on the Skeena River in the northwest of the province.

The company was incorporated in November of last year, and the Skeena website includes the following mission statement:

We will produce fresh, high-quality beer for site sales and regional distribution in kegs, bottles, and growlers. Additionally, a forty-five seat brewpub will showcase regional foods, served tapas-style, in a stunning setting within walking distance of Terrace’s downtown core. Patrons will be able to enjoy local craft beer and other refreshments together with regional produce in a setting that complements the area’s natural beauty, culture, and economic activity.

The website and associated Facebook page have not been updated since early 2012, so it’s unclear how far along the company’s plans are, but any updates will be posted here on CBN as they come available.

It’s also worth noting that this new company is unrelated to the Ontario-based Skeena Brewing, the company that owns the Wolfgang’s Beer brand.
