COLLINGWOOD, ON – Ontario craft beer blog Mom & Hops reports that plans are underway for Side Launch Brewing to open in Collingwood within the next two years.
According to the proposed site plan (excerpt pictured above), the brewery will sit on 15 acres of land at 200 Mountain Road. Phase 1 would include a 50 hL brewhouse with capacity to brew 70,000 hL per year, as well as a tasting bar and retail store. An event room would be added during Phase 2 of construction.
If all goes as planned, company president Garnet Pratt Siddall hopes to have construction started next fall, with the brewery opening for business in the spring of 2014.
