Tree Brewing To Represent Canada at UK Real Ale Festival

KELOWNA, BCTree Brewing has announced that it will be representing Canada at the Wetherspoon Real Ale Festival, a celebration of cask ale and cider taking place October 24th to November 11th at locations of the J D Wetherspoon pub chain throughout the UK.

The festival will feature 50 cask ales – including 10 from international brewers – and 10 ciders. Tree will be contributing a special version of Thirsty Beaver Amber Ale, described as follows:

[Tree head brewer] Dave Goekiert has travelled to Caledonian Brewery, in Edinburgh, to collaborate in re-creating this beer especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. We consider this very apt, as beavers have recently been reintroduced to Scotland. This amber-coloured beer has a slightly sweet malt aroma, leading to a distinct malt character, with caramel and nut undertones in the flavour, resulting in a beer with a clean finish and bursting with flavour.

More details on the event can be found on the Wetherspoon Real Ale website.
