Parallel 49 Welcomes Winter With Three Seasonal Brews

VANCOUVER, BCParallel 49 Brewing is less than a year old, but they’ve already built a solid portfolio of both regular and seasonal brands, and that list has grown even more with the recent launches of three winter seasonals.

In addition to the previously announced Ugly Sweater Milk Stout, the brewery has also released Salty Scot, a flavoured Scottish ale, and Black Christmas, a Cascadian dark ale.

Descriptions provided by the brewery:

Ugly Sweater: The use of specialty malts gives this stout a sweet, creamy, smooth finish with a full warming body. A unique and delicious winter seasonal selection.

Salty Scot: The use of specialty malts, caramel and a touch of sea salt gives this Scottish Wee Heavy with a sweet malt aroma and savoury sea salt finish.

Black Christmas: 450lbs of locally BC grown fresh hops went in to producing this big hoppy, well balanced C.D.A. A great holiday treat for the Hop Head in all of us.

All three beers are now available at the Parallel 49 retail store and select liquor stores in BC. Ugly Sweater has been released in six-packs of 341 ml bottles, and the other two in single 650 ml bomber bottles.
