CALGARY, AB – Big Rock Brewery has announced the release of the latest beer in the Brewmaster’s Edition series of limited edition brews.
Big Rock Helles Bock is described as follows:
With its malty flavour balanced by Hallertau hops, the smooth golden texture of Helles Bock is Brewmaster Paul’s interpretation of the bock, a strong German beer first brewed in the 14th century. Whereas bocks are typically dark in colour, Helles Bock is a light coloured, full-bodied lager brewed to bock strength. Crafted from a complex blend of three malts, Helles Bock pours deep gold with a rich white head. And at 6.66%, it has a devilish kick.
Helles Bock will be officially launched with events at The Folk Festival Hall in Calgary on January 17th, and The Billiard Club in Edmonton on January 24th. Those interested in attending can send name and city to firstname.lastname@example.org for a chance to win two tickets.
Once released, Big Rock Helles Bock will be available in 6 packs and on tap in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba until May.
