Howe Sound Wee Beastie Oak Aged Scotch Ale Coming Next Week

SQUAMISH, BC – Howe Sound Brewing has announced the release of a new limited edition beer that is well-suited for upcoming Robbie Burns Day celebrations.

Named in honour of Burns’ famous poem “To A Mouse“, Wee Beastie Oak Aged Scotch Ale is a 7% abv brew that is described as follows:

A rich, malty Wee Heavy style Scotch ale, brewed with 100% barley malt, hops, water and yeast. Peated malt provides a subtle smokiness to this beer, while medium toasted American oak imparts a silky smoothness and additional complexity.

Wee Beastie will be released next Tuesday January 15th in 1 litre swing-top bottles, and will be available at the Howe Sound retail store as well as select liquor stores in BC.
