CALGARY, AB – Big Rock Brewery is running a contest in conjunction with several folk festivals in Western Canada that calls upon fans in each city to help choose and name a beer to be served at their local festival.
Presented in partnership with the Calgary Folk Music Festival, Regina Folk Festival, Winnipeg Folk Festival and Vancouver Folk Music Festival, the Share In Our Craft contest offers entrants the choice of three beer styles – California Common, India Pale Lager, and Peach Wheat Ale – and asks them to select their favorite and suggest a name for it.
One winner will be chosen from each city, where their respective Festival will feature the winning beer on tap in the Big Rock Beer Garden.
In addition, the winners will be flown to Calgary on June 27th for a tour of the Big Rock brewery, lunch at the Big Rock Grill, and an evening at the 20th anniversary edition of the Big Rock Eddies.
