TORONTO, ONMcClelland Premium Imports has announced that the low alcohol fruit beer Stiegl Grapefruit Radler will soon be available at retail outlets in several provinces.

A blend of 50% Stiegl Goldbrau Lager and 50% pure grapefruit juice, the 2.5% abv Stiegl Grapefruit Radler is described as follows:

Radler, which means “cyclist” in German, is a beer style invented by Bavarian cyclists. Seeking a great tasting, low alcoholic beverage they could take on bike rides and picnics, Bavarian cyclists blended a 50/50 mixture of Bavarian lager and fruit juice. Stiegl Grapefruit Radler has a distinct tart flavour, citrusy aroma, lively effervescence and natural cloudiness, making it a perfect summer thirst-quencher.

Stiegl Grapefruit Radler will be available in 500 ml cans at liquor retailers in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. Prices will range from $2.39 to $2.99 depending on the province.
