SAINT JOHN, NBMoosehead Breweries has announced the release of a new “premium & well-crafted” ale that draws from both UK and US ale brewing traditions.

Boundary Ale is a 5.3% abv pale ale brewed with seven malts and four types of hops, including classic UK varieties East Kent Golding and Fuggles, and Chinook and Cascade from the US, which combine to bring the beer up to 39 IBUs.

According to JP Auger, Moosehead’s Director of Operations, Boundary is “a remarkably well-balanced beer that is slightly sweet with roasted and caramel malt complexity. It’s flavourful and aromatic with a medium body and smooth citrusy finish.”

Moosehead Boundary Ale is being launched now on draught in Ontario and the Maritime provinces. Bottles and cans will follow later in the summer, and a nationwide roll-out is planned for September.
