Picaroons Announces New Brunswick Home-Brew Challenge

FREDERICTON, NB – Picaroons Traditional Ales has announced that it is teaming up with homebrewing club the New Brunswick Craft Brewer’s Association (NBCBA) to present the New Brunswick Home-Brew Challenge.
All New Brunswick based homebrewers are invited to submit their take on a Standard/Ordinary Bitter (BJCP style 8A) to be judged by a panel of beer tasting experts.
Registration is due by November 1st, and beers must be dropped off at the Picaroons Brewtique in Fredericton by November 15th. Five top entries will be selected from all entered beers, and the winners will be announced at a gala event at the Picaroons brewery on December 1st. The Best in Show winner will be awarded the opportunity to brew a full batch of their beer for release via the Brewtique, plus a free one year NBCBA membership.
