Central City Shifts Imperial IPA to Red Racer Line-Up

SURREY, BC – Central City Brewing has announced that a beer previously available on a limited and infrequent basis is now going into more regular production under a slightly new name.

Red Racer Imperial IPA was previously known as Central City Imperial IPA, and was most recently available under that name earlier this year as a special edition to raise funds for autism. Now part of the core Red Racer line-up, the 9% abv and 90 IBU ale is described as follows:

Dry hopped with whole leaf hops from the Yakima Valley, combined with Maris Otter English barley, which is floor-malted in age old tradition. A long maturation ensures plenty of flavour, with strong aromatics of grapefruit, tangerine and mango.

Red Racer Imperial IPA will be available soon in 650 ml bottles at select liquor stores in British Columbia.
