TORONTO, ON – The Canadian Amateur Brewers Association (CABA) has announced the return of its popular “Evening With A Brewer” series with an event focused on a brewery founded by members of a homebrewing club that went pro.

5 Paddles Brewing was launched last June in Whitby, Ontario by Ed Woods, Mike Bray, Ian Mills, Spencer McCormack and JP Tibensky, all members of the Durham Homebrewers.

The brewers will be on hand next Friday April 4th at The Rhino (1249 Queen St W, Toronto) for an evening that “will centre on the creativity of brewing, recipe development, ingredients and basically doing what you want with really great results.” Samples of various 5 Paddles beers will be served, and homebrewers are encouraged to bring their brews to share.

Tickets for the 5 Paddles event are available online, priced at $10 for CABA members, and $20 for non-members.
