HALIFAX, NS – Garrison Brewing has announced the release of a limited edition beer created especially for the OBEY Convention, a “festival of contemporary music and art for the cultural wanderer” taking place later this month in Halifax.
Now in its seventh year, the 2014 edition of OBEY will be happening May 22nd to 25h at venues throughout Halifax, and Garrison’s OBEY This Brew will be available at many of the events.
According to Atlantic Canada Beer Blog, the 5% abv and 30 IBU pale ale is a custom blend of Garrison’s Hop Yard and Tall Ship Amber brands.
In addition to being served at OBEY events, OBEY This Brew will also be available in a limited run of 650 ml bottles at select liquor stores in Nova Scotia, and at the Garrison retail store.
