Brewery List Confirmed for Brewers Plate 2014

TORONTO, ON – With 2 weeks to go until the 2014 edition of Brewers Plate Toronto, the full list of participating breweries – as well as the chefs they will be working with – is now confirmed.

Taking place on Wednesday June 4th at the Barbara Frum Atrium in the CBC Building (250 Front St. W., Toronto), this year’s edition will benefit Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation, a charitable grant-making organization working to help keep farmers successful, strengthen local economies, and protect and grow natural features in Ontario’s Greenbelt.

Breweries participating in this year’s event will include Amsterdam, Beau’s, Bell City, Black OakCameron’s, Descendants, Grand River, Granite, Great Lakes, HogsBack, KingMacKinnon, Mill Street, MuskokaNeustadt Springs, Niagara College, Nickel Brook, Railway City, Sawdust City, Spearhead, Steam Whistle and Wellington. Other beverages will be offered by Brickworks Ciderhouse, Applewood Farm Winery and Southbrook Vineyards.

Providing the food to pair with the beer will be chefs Brad Long (Cafe Belong), Lora Kirk (Ruby Watch Co.), Bruce Wood (Beau’s All Natural Brewing Co.), Chris McDonald (Cava), Madeline Sperry (Flaky Tart), Howard Dubrovsky (Fonda Lola), Dan Sanders (Globe Bistro),  Brook Kavanagh (La Palette), Tony Sabherwal (Magical Catering), Andrew Muto, Steffan Howard (Pegasus Hospitality Group), Chris Klugman (PaintBox Bistro), Luis Valenzuela Robles Linares (Torito and Carmen), John Robertson (The Big Carrot) and more!.

Also on hand will be several artisanal food producers and vendors including ChocoSol Traders, Merchants of Green Coffee, Neal Brothers and Toronto Garlic Festival.

Tickets for Brewers Plate 2014 are available now via the event website for $125 plus service charges. The event typically sells out each year, so advance purchase is recommended.
