CALGARY, ABVillage Brewery has announced details of its second annual charity event to raise funds for the Calgary Prostate Cancer Centre – and as with last year’s event, a beer with a special and “ballsy” ingredient will be taking centre stage.

Taking place this Friday July 4th at Bottlescrew Bill’s (140 10th Avenue SW, Calgary), the Village NUTRaiser will feature a cask of Village Prairie Oyster Ale, a beer flavoured with cooked bull testicles as well as “pineapple and ancho peppers with some wit and New Zealand Waimea hops to minimize the potent testicle taste.”

The cask will be tapped at 5:30 PM, and those who make a donation of $100 or more to the cause will receive a pint of Prairie Oyster Ale to enjoy. (Or not enjoy, as the case may be.)

For more details, see the Village NUTRaiser page on Facebook.
