Scandal Brewing Launching Seven Deadly Sins Series with Envy Triple IPA

PRINCE GEORGE, BCScandal Brewing, an imprint of Pacific Western Brewing, has announced the launch of a new series of limited edition beers inspired by and named after the Seven Deadly Sins.

Following a similar format to Scandal’s Seven Wonders series that wrapped up earlier this year, the new series will feature experimental and extreme beers released in swing-top 750 ml bottles.

The first offering in the Seven Sins series will be Envy Triple IPA, a 8% abv strong ale that is described as follows:

From the pour you will see a medium reddish copper with an orange-ish tint and a bit of haze from 50lbs of hops added in dry hopping. Raise the glass to your nose and a prominent hop aroma with some malty sweetness will seduce your palate. Finally, you sip an intensely hoppy, very strong pale ale with a subtle maltiness balanced with a higher alcohol. A flavour historical IPAs will envy.

Scandal Envy Triple IPA will be available soon at select liquor stores in British Columbia while supplies last.

  1. The Envy IPA is terrible. I’m sorry but it doesn’t taste hoppy at all.
    Very disappointed.
