TORONTO, ON – Beer import agency McClelland Premium Imports has announced that after several years of being available in Ontario exclusively on draught, the infamous Belgan ale Delirium Tremens will soon be available in bottles at retail in the province.
Brewed by the family-owned Brouwerij Huyghe, the 8.5% abv ale is described as follows:
Delirium Tremens is a bright, triple-fermented, bottle-conditioned ale with a dense, creamy head. It is lightly hopped and surprisingly malty, with a fruity bouquet, sweetish palate and a lot of warming alcohol. Playfully referred to as the ‘Pink Elephant,’ Delirium Tremens has attracted a cult following for its unique taste, brewing history and famous white and blue ceramic bottle adorned with the iconic pink elephant that has become synonymous with the brand.
Delirium Tremens will be available at select Beer Store locations in Ontario starting September 29th, retailing for $3.95 per 330 ml bottle.
