SASKATOON, SK – Great Western Brewing has announced the release of a new seasonal brand that it is calling “a Saskatchewan beer to celebrate the harvest in Canada’s breadbasket.”
Great Western Harvest Bock is a 5.8% Heller-style bock brewed using 100% locally grown barley malt, as well as molasses from Alberta-grown beet sugar to add body and sweetness. Brewmaster Viv Jones describes it as having “a beautiful, lovely colour,” and “a nice warming effect, perfect for a fall and winter beer.”
Harvest Bock will be available in SLGA stores across Saskatchewan for a limited time.
