SASKATOON, SK – A day after announcing the launch of Harvest Bock as a new seasonal brand, Great Western Brewing has revealed details of another new beer that is about to be released.
Original 16 Canadian Krystall Wheat is the newest addition to the brewery’s Original 16 portfolio, a series of premium brands named in named in honour of the sixteen founders of the brewery. A 4.5% abv kristallweizen-style filtered wheat beer brewed using 100% Saskatchewan-grown wheat and barley, it’s described as having “a hoppy flavour, without the bitter aftertaste.”
Original 16 Canadian Krystall Wheat will be available in 473 ml cans at SLGA stores across Saskatchewan.
