CALGARY, AB – Big Rock Brewery has announced details of the latest installment in the Big Rock Brewmaster’s Edition series of specialty beers.
Abandoned Abbey Belgian Style Dark Ale is Big Rock brewmaster Paul Gautreau’s take on a Trappist-style Quadrupel, and the 9.2% abv strong ale is described as follows:
You don’t have to be a monk or a nun to appreciate the reverent qualities of this Abandoned Abbey. From its deep mysterious colour, to its rich malty flavour with hints of fruits and spice, to its elaborate texture, to its potent, heady strength… this Belgian-style dark ale is a memorable feast for all the senses.
