GUELPH, ON – Wellington Brewery and Royal City Brewing – Guelph’s oldest and newest craft breweries respectively – have announced details of a new limited edition collaborative beer.
Wine Not? is a 6% abv Vienna-style lager that has been aged for a month in Cabernet Franc wine barrels. The result is described as “a robust lager [with] bright grape aromas [and] a slightly tannic finish.”
Wine Not? will be released tomorrow (November 7th) at 2:00 PM in a limited run of 580 bottles at the Wellington and Royal City retail stores – 290 at each location – selling for $9.95 per 750 ml bottle.
