HAMILTON, ON – Brewer Brad Clifford has unfortunately put an end to his nanobrewery at Toronto’s Get Well Bar, but it won’t be long until his award-winning beers will be available to enjoy once again, as he is preparing to launch a new brewing project in his new home base of Hamilton.

Known simply as Clifford Brewing, the new venture will initially be contract brewing out of Waterloo’s Innocente Brewing while Clifford scouts for a permanent location in Hamilton.

Serving as the initial flagship brand for the brewery will be Clifford Porter, a beer that won multiple brewing awards during its original incarnation at Get Well. In a press release, Clifford says “the porter is one of my favorite recipes and the perfect winter brew. It has all the right elements of chocolate and roast with earthy undertones and a balanced bitterness. It’s consistently proved to be very popular but limited in terms of its availability – until now.”

Clifford Porter will be available to licensees in Hamilton and across Southern Ontario in early 2015. Other brands – including “plenty of new beers plus some old favorites” – will follow soon after.
