TORONTO, ON – Liberty Village Brewing has announced that its newest seasonal beer will be debuting this week with a pair of launch events.
Black Blessing Chocolate Stout is a 7.4% ABV and 53 IBU stout that was brewed with buckwheat honey and conditioned on organic cocoa nibs for 2 months. The result is described as follows:
Black Blessing is a rich, chocolatey stout, with enough hop bitterness to keep it drinkably balanced. The sharpness of the roast is followed by a smooth, complex wave of chocolate, and finally cleansed by earthy, spicy hop notes.
The official launch party for the new beer will be taking place tonight (January 14th) starting at 6:00 PM at Vespa Pizzeria (167 East Liberty St., Toronto), featuring $4 glasses of Black Blessing along with Liberty Village 504 Pale Ale and Gosebuster.
Black Blessing will also be on tap as part of the first ever Liberty Village Brewing tap takeover at Dundas & Carlaw (1173 Dundas St. E., Toronto) this coming weekend. A one-off cask of Black Blessing spiked with Station Cold Brew coffee will be tapped at 6:00 PM on Friday January 16th, and the Liberty Village team will be at the bar on Saturday as guest bartenders.
