OTTAWA, ON & VANCOUVER, BC – While the Toronto Blue Jays continue to be the only Major League Baseball team to not sell craft beer at their stadium, there are thankfully some minor league ball teams in Canada that are willing to support their local breweries, with two new partnerships being unveiled this week.

In the nation’s capital, the Ottawa Champions – a new team this year in the independent Can-Am League – has announced that they will be featuring a half dozen offerings from Kichesippi Beer and Clocktower Brew Pub at their home games. The team’s inaugural season kicks off May 22nd at Ottawa Stadium.

Out west, the three-time Northwest League champs Vancouver Canadians have inked a long term deal with Northam Beverages to have Whistler Brewing and Lonetree Cider brands featured at concession stands in Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium. The Canadians will start their season on the road on June 18th, with their first home game on June 26th.
