SURREY, BCCentral City Brewing has announced details of its annual fundraising release for autism research, with a few changes this year from past campaigns.

While previous years saw the brewery offer a re-labeled version of its Red Racer Imperial IPA, the 2015 release features a special edition of Red Racer IPA, branded as Red Racer IPA For Autism. In addition, distribution has been expanded for this year, with the special edition to be available in all provinces where the regular Red Racer IPA is sold.

$2 from every six-pack and 25 cents from every 473ml single can sold will be donated to autism research initiatives, as will 25 cents for every pint of Red Racer IPA sold at participating restaurants and bars in British Columbia during the campaign. Donations of any amount can also be made at the Central City Liquor Store and Brewpub.

To cap off this year’s fundraising campaign, Central City and Simon Fraser University will be holding a black-tie benefit gala featuring live and silent auctions, canapés, craft beverages, and live entertainment. The date and additional details for the event will be announced soon.
