TORONTO, ON – BlogTO reports that a restaurant, bar and live music venue that recently opened in Toronto’s Bloordale Village neighbourhood will soon be launching an on-site brewery.
Burdock opened its doors at 1184 Bloor St. W. last month, offering a variety of craft beers and a locally-focussed food menu developed by chef Jeremy Dennis, who is also a musician and homebrewer. Adjacent to the restaurant is a music hall that features live indie music most nights.
In the back of the restaurant space, a glass-enclosed brewery is set to start up operations soon, with brewer Siobhan McPherson intending to have beer ready to pour by the summer. As with the food, local ingredients will be sourced for the beer where possible.
