TORONTO, ON – Thanks to the organizers of Brewers Plate Toronto – an annual charity event that brings together some of Ontario’s top chefs and craft brewers in a celebration of local and sustainable food and drink – Canadian Beer News has a pair of tickets to give away to one lucky reader.

Taking place on Wednesday May 13th 2015 at the Corus Quay (25 Dockside Drive, Toronto), this year’s edition will have more than 20 breweries on hand pouring their beer in support of Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation, and will feature a rock’n’roll theme, with attendees encouraged to wear their favourite concert or band t-shirt.

For a chance to win a pair of tickets to Brewers Plate, follow @cdnbeernews on Twitter and post the following to your feed:

I want to win tickets to @brewersplateTO from @cdnbeernews – http://wp.me/pTQFC-2zT #RockThePlate

Non-tweeters can enter by leaving a comment on this post mentioning their favourite brewery from those appearing at the event.

The winner will be chosen at random from all entries received by 12:00 noon on Friday May 8th. Only one entry allowed per person, and both winner and guest must be 19 years of age or older.

For those who don’t win the contest – or would prefer to buy now rather than taking a gamble on missing out – advance tickets are available online for $95, which includes admission and unlimited food and drink samples.

  1. Would love to attend the Brewers Plate!
My favourite brewery on the list would have to be Great Lakes!
    Cheers!

  2. I would love to attend! My favourite brewery of those attending is Junction Craft Brewing. Highly underrated in the beer geek circles. Always perfectly balanced beer.

  3. My favourite brewery on that list right now is Sawdust City; funny names and great tasting beer!

  4. I am so excited about this event!

My favourite would have to be Black Oak Brewing. Consistently amazing.

  5. I’d love to see all the Brewers at the Brewers Plate, but am most stoked to interact with Amsterdam Brewery AND Mill Street Brewery (it’s a tie sorry lol)

  6. Tough choice – I love how Great Lakes isn’t afraid of producing citrus hopped beers (my favourite)! But, a Junction Craft brew is always so balanced and I love their Tap Room. For now, Great Lakes by a hair – but I might be persuaded after the Brewer’s Plate!
