Welcome to the CBN round-up of beer festivals and events for the coming week (Friday through Thursday), listed here with a bit more detail than what is featured on our popular Beer Festival Calendar page. Watch for a new installment every Thursday – assuming there are any events scheduled for the week ahead, of course.

Friday, July 31, 2015 – Sunday, August 02, 2015
BIÈRES ET BOUFFE DE VIEUX SAINTE-ROSE
Boulevard Ste-Rose, Vieux Sainte-Rose – Laval, QC
This annual fest in the Vieux Sainte-Rose district of Laval, just north of Montreal, is a sort of “Oktoberfest in August”, with a selection of Quebec craft breweries and German-inspired food including sausages, sauerkraut and pretzels. Live entertainment and a “Tournée des Chefs” round out the weekend’s festivities.

SESSION MUSKOKA 2015
Annie Williams Park – Bracebridge, ON
This year’s edition of Muskoka’s biggest beer festival has really stepped things up in the entertainment department, with mainstage headliners including jazz-rock legends Lighthouse and Canadian hip-hop pioneer Maestro Fresh Wes. But beer is still the main focus of the day, with at least 22 Ontario breweries set to be there, and a special Collaboration Nation North competition featuring beers representing various towns and townships in the region.
