NORTH BAY, ON – After more than a year and a half of planning and preparation, the first brewery to operate in North Bay, Ontario in just over a century is ready to open its doors to the public.

New Ontario Brewing has been founded by partners Ron Clancy, Mike Harrison and Dan Delorme, and takes its inspiration from a brewery of the same name that was open in North Bay from 1907 until it was destroyed by fire in 1915.

Following a debut at the first North Bay Beer Expo earlier this month, New Ontario has had beer on tap at several bars and pubs in the area, and is now ready to unveil its retail store and tasting room at 1881 Cassells Street.

Opening tomorrow (September 23rd) at 4:00 PM, the shop will be offering growlers and glasses of three brands to start – Blonde Ale, English Pale Ale, and India Pale Ale – with a Pumpkin Spice Ale and other seasonals to follow.

Following tomorrow’s opening, operating hours for the retail store will be 4:00 to 11:00 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM Thursday to Saturday, and 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, with by-the-glass sales ending at 9:00 PM each day.
