VICTORIA, BC – Spinnakers Gastro Brewpub has announced details for a quartet of beers that are available – or are coming soon – for the autumn.
Sooke Harvest Fresh Hopped Pale Ale (5% abv, 40 IBU) was released in early October, and was brewed using fresh hops from the Hadfield family hop garden in Sooke, roughly 45 minutes west of Victoria on the southern tip of Vancouver Island.
Spinnakers Craft Apple Cider (6.5% abv) has been available on draught for some time, but is now on sale in 650 ml bottles exclusively at Spinnakers Spirit Merchants and the brewpub. Its a “dry, well-balanced” cider made using Spartan, Gala and Granny Smith apples grown in BC.
Oatmeal Orange Karma Cream Ale (5.3% abv, 50 IBU) is a “thirst-quenching beer brewed with sweet orange peel, oats and lactose sugar,” and named after the Spinnakers brewery dog.
Spinnakers Lager (4.5% abv, 10 IBU) is the latest addition to the brewery’s canned six-pack selection, and offers “the perfect balance of flavour and drinkability.”
