VICTORIA, BC – Swans Brewpub has announced the return of a dark and roasty seasonal beer created in collaboration with a local independent coffee chain.
Double Shot Porter was brewed using 850 double espresso shots of Sumatra Mandheling coffee pulled by the baristas at Caffè Fantastico. Described as having “spicy cocoa and earthy tones,” this custom roasted coffee results in a porter that has “rich and complex flavour.”
This year’s edition of Double Shot Porter will be released on Thursday November 5th at Swans, with a tasting event running from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. It will be available on tap at the brewpub, and in 650 ml bottles at the Swans Beer & Wine Shoppe and other select retail outlets in BC, while supplies last.
