LETHBRIDGE, AB – The first brewery to operate in Lethbridge, Alberta since the closure of the local Molson plant in 1990 opened to the public this weekend – and quickly sold out of beer.

Theoretically Brewing was founded by Kelti Boissonneault and Kris Fischer, with veteran homebrewer Fischer serving as brewmaster.

The brewery retail store opened at 1263-B 2nd Ave South on Saturday with two beers – Curiosity Amber Ale and BHB Stout – available in bottles, and all stock sold through in just a few hours.

More bottles of Curiosity have been packaged for sales today, and the store will be open from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM, or while supplies last. Regular business hours will start in the new year, and both beers will also be available on tap soon at local bars and restaurants.

For more details, see the Theoretically Brewing Facebook page.
