ST. THOMAS, ON – Railway City Brewing has released the latest in its Barrel Reserve series of barrel-aged beers that are available exclusively at the brewery retail store in extremely limited numbers.
Belgian Blonde Ale is a 7.5% abv strong ale with the following description:
This white wine barrel-aged brew enters your glass with a golden honey colour and fills your nose with aromas of sweet banana bread. On the palate, the medium-bodied ale begins with sweet pear and fresh cut grass. It then falls away to reveal a moderately crisp bitterness, ending in a delectably dry brew.
Barrel Reserve Belgian Blonde Ale went on sale this past Saturday January 2nd at the Railway City retail store in downtown St. Thomas. The release is limited to 250 bomber (650 ml) bottles selling for $9.95 each, limited to a maximum of 2 bottles per person, while supplies last.
